ADS4ME (uae.ads4me.com) is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data in compliance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 — PDPL). This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights as a user.

1. Data We Collect

Account data — name, email, phone number and password (encrypted) when you register
Listing data — photos, descriptions, prices, location (emirate / city) and category you choose for your ads
Communication data — messages you send through our in-platform chat
Technical data — IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited (cookies and analytics)
Payment data — handled directly by Stripe for boost / featured listing purchases; we do not store card numbers

2. How We Use Your Data

To create and manage your account and listings
To show your ads to relevant buyers in your emirate / category
To send transactional emails (account verification, ad activation, expiry warnings, messages)
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and scams
To improve site performance and user experience through aggregated analytics
To send optional marketing emails (you can unsubscribe any time)

3. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Other users — your name, photos and contact options on your public ads
Service providers — Stripe for payments, Google Analytics for site analytics, email delivery providers, and cloud storage
UAE authorities — only when required by law or a valid court order

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies on ADS4ME to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

We use cookies that are required for the site to function — for example to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and protect against fraud. These do not require your consent.

Analytics Cookies (consent required)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC) to collect anonymous, aggregated information about how you use our site — including pages viewed, time on page, country, device type, and how you arrived. We have IP anonymisation enabled. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Consent Mode v2 so analytics data is only collected after you accept on our cookie banner.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser settings — you will be asked again on your next visit.

Advertising Cookies

We do not currently run remarketing or personalised advertising on this site. If we introduce them in future, we will update this policy and ask for fresh consent.

International Transfers

Google may process your analytics data on servers outside the UAE, including in the United States. Google participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We use HTTPS encryption, secure database storage, hashed passwords (bcrypt) and regular security updates. While we work hard to protect your data, no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

6. Your Rights Under UAE PDPL

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction — update inaccurate information on your account at any time
Deletion — request that we delete your account and personal data
Withdraw consent — opt out of marketing emails or analytics cookies at any time
Complain — contact the UAE Data Office if you believe your rights have been breached

7. Data Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Inactive accounts with no activity for 24 months may be archived or deleted. Visitor analytics data is retained for up to 365 days then aggregated.

8. Children's Privacy

ADS4ME is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version with the date of the last update will always be available on this page.
