• I am Civil Engineer having Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from reputed Universities of Pakistan. After my graduation in Civil Engineering, I joined Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) on 07.05.1995 as Junior Engineer (Civil) and continuously worked with WAPDA (Water Wing) upto 30.04.2026 for 31 years on Water Sector Projects in all Provinces of Pakistan. • WAPDA is Pakistan’s reputed Semi-Autonomous Organization. WAPDA Water Wing is mandated to develop water resources of the Country and implement Projects like Dams, Barrages, Canals, Irrigation Networks, Drainage Networks, and Hydraulic Structures to address Country’s water issues. These Projects are either funded by Government of Pakistan (GOP) or funded by International Donor Agencies such as World Bank, ADB etc. through GOP. • The WAPDA Projects/Offices where I worked are as under:  Chief Engineer (HQ) South, Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan (May 2025 to April 2026)  Ghazi Barotha Hydropower Project, Hattian, Punjab, Pakistan (2023 to May 2025)  Naulong Dam Project, Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan – (2022 to 2023)  Darawat Dam Project, Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan – (2020 to 2022)  Office of General Manager (Projects) South, Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan – (2015 to 2020)  Installation of Pilot Treatment Plant Project, Dadu, Sindh, Pakistan.- (2013 to 2015)  Office of General Manager (Projects) South, Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan – (2010 to 2013)  Rainee Canal Project, Guddu, Sindh, Pakistan (2008 to 2010)  Right Bank Outfall Drainage Project, Sukkur, Sindh Pakistan (worked with Consultants M/s NDC-Ease Pak JV, Pakistan) – (2005 to 2008)  Office of General Manager (Projects) South, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan – (2002 to 2005)  Chashma Right Bank Irrigation Project, Dera Ismail Khan, KPK, Pakistan (worked with Consultants M/s Harza-Sogreah-NDC Joint Venture of USA, France & Pakistan) – (1998 to 2002)  Pat Feeder Canal Project, Dera Murad Jamali, Balochistan, Pakistan (worked with Consultants M/s Halcrow, UK) – (1995 to 1998) • While working on the above Projects, I accomplished the following tasks:  Construction Supervision of Earthworks/Stone Works Canal/Drain Embankments and Excavation of Canals/Drains. Guide Banks, Spurs, Flood Carrier Channels and associated Stone Pitching & Stone Apron works as per Drawings & Specifications.  Construction Supervision of Structures such as District/Village Road Bridges (Pre-Stressed), Superpassages, Aqueducts, Culverts, Cross Regulators, Head Regulators, Escape Regulators, Drop Structures, Watercourse Crossings, Catchwater Drain Inlets, Drainage Inlets. These structures involve Plain Concrete, Reinforced Concrete, Pilling Work, Stone Pitching, Stone Apron and Mechanical Works etc. as per Drawings & Specifications.  Procurement of Contractors’ / Consultants as per PEC and ADB Guidelines including preparation of Tender Documents for Contract Packages, preparation of Expression of Interest and Request for Proposal (RFP) Documents for hiring of Consultants as well as carried out evaluation of received Bids/Proposal from Bidders and Interested Consulting Firms for Award of Contracts.  Contract Administration as per FIDIC Guidelines including verification of Contractor’s Bills/Claims for payment as per Conditions of Contract, evaluation of Contractor’s/Consultants EOT cases, evaluation of Contractor’s / Consultants Variation Orders/Amendments as per Contract Agreements.  Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports, Briefs and Presentations for ongoing construction activities of the projects. • Based on above experience, my areas of expertise include Project Management, Procurement Management, Contract Administration / Construction Supervision & Preparation/Review of Project Technical Documents of Dams, Irrigation Networks & Drainage Projects and their Allied Hydraulic Structures.
