In-House Automotive Diagnostic Technician (European Car Specialist) Location: Bahrain (Prime Main Road location in Tubli Job Type: Full-time Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + High Sales Incentives & Commissions ## About the Role Join our high-exposure, tech-driven automotive diagnostic hub. Operating from our main road office and dedicated vehicle yard, we provide premium, independent diagnostic evaluations, pre-purchase inspections, and express fluid maintenance to a high volume of walk-in traffic. We are looking for an In-House Automotive Diagnostic Technician who excels at complex vehicle electronics and loves customer interaction. You will work out of a comfortable, air-conditioned office environment, stepping into our adjacent yard to handle incoming vehicles. If you can confidently diagnose German cars, explain technical issues clearly to everyday drivers, and want to boost your income through direct sales incentives, this is the perfect role for you. ## Key Responsibilities * Greet walk-in customers and manage incoming vehicles within our 10-car capacity front yard. * Perform high-accuracy vehicle diagnostics, professional OBD2 scanning, and digital paint-thickness inspections on-site. * Troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic faults, with a heavy focus on European (German) and American vehicles. * Execute basic, high-margin yard services on the spot: express oil/filter changes, AC gas top-ups, coolant refreshes, tire plugging, and battery testing/swaps. * Present easy-to-understand diagnostic reports to customers waiting in our AC lounge. * Maximize ticket value by actively upselling filters, premium oils, and essential fluid top-ups based on vehicle needs. ## Requirements * Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, with proven mastery of German brands (BMW, Mercedes, Audi). * Technical Skills: Expert command of advanced diagnostic scanning tools (Launch, Autel, etc.). Ability to effortlessly service Japanese and Korean models. * Sales Ability: Strong commercial mindset with the confidence to recommend and sell on-site maintenance parts and fluids. * Language: Good spoken English to communicate with a diverse customer base.
